I am a multimedia journalist based in New York City specializing in video reporting and production, with a special interest in international affairs.

I am currently working at CNN in New York City as a freelance production assistant. I am actively seeking employment at a media/broadcast company in a production or digital position.

I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May 2018 and have completed media internships in NYC, London and Melbourne.

I had stories air on KOMU 8, the NBC-affiliate station in Columbia, Missouri; and on KBIA, the city's NPR station. I published stories in other local news outlets and had a story picked up by the Associated Press. I served as a supervising producer for Global Journalist, a nationally-distributed broadcast program focused on international issues that hosts guests from all over the world.

Growing up in Columbia, Missouri, I wanted to be a journalist since elementary school. I was the child who loved the "Writing Station" in kindergarten and whose story, taped to the wall outside my second grade classroom, stretched all the way to the floor. An avid musician and world traveler, I taught myself the beginnings of video filming and editing by making music videos and short travel montages.
