Rayna is a five-time Emmy Award-winning journalist based in New York City who specializes in documentary and visual storytelling.
She currently works in CNN’s Documentary Unit on The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper, a weekly documentary show that digs deeper into today’s most important issues. Previously, she worked for CNN Heroes. She has experience across many aspects of long-form storytelling, including field production, research, interviewing, writing, photography and editing. She has collaborated with high-profile anchors, contributors and talent.
Her bylines and credits include CNN, CNN.com and the Associated Press, among others. She graduated summa cum laude from the Missouri School of Journalism.
When she's not working, Rayna can be found traveling, taking photos or trying new restaurants.
